John Wick 3 - 8/10
I finally watched this last night as my blu ray arrived. It was pretty much what I expected so it didn't disappoint too much. This series does however run the risk of becoming another fast and furious type franchise if they aren't careful. This one was just full on fights and violence throughout with very little real story. That's fine for this kind of movie, and the action was all good. But it might be better to reign it in slightly for the next one and focus a bit more on characters and plot rather than trying to keep on upping the action for each movie to the point where it becomes too much. I like all three movies, but the first one is still the best imo.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. 10 of 10. A classic and still watchable after 50 (yes that is right) years! The Newman/Redford interplay is outstanding.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters 7/10
I was maybe expecting too much from this movie, it was cool seeing Gidorah, Mothra, Rodan etc but ultimately I felt dissapointed when it was all said and done
Mysterious Skin - 9/10
this movie was very difficult to watch, very mature subject matter, but it was a great movie. Joseph Gordon Levitt knocked it out of the park, one of his best performances, if not his best. Highly recommended if you can get past the uncomfortable subject matter.

When I walked into the the theater and saw that the audience was 95% female, I realized I wasn't the target audience for this movie.
