Same here. I went to place a preorder and saw that economy shipping is temporarily unavailable. Needless to say, I didn't place my order.

I wonder what the problem is. I cancelled my AK Harley after waiting 2 months for it to ship, and it’s now been several weeks since they charged my balance for the JL Batman and it doesn’t even say “preparing to ship” yet.

Strange situation. Wonder if the Economy Shipping wasn’t as viable as they projected?

Is there any hope of sideshow and Prime1 reconciling?

Damn, who do I order P1 statues from now on? There are a few other retailers for P1 DC products but other not-Sideshow retailers rarely carry other license P1 products :S I really want to avoid paying for shipping that costs 25~50% of the statue...

So many of P1's 1/4 scale announcements have been priced at something I would expect more from a 1/3 (from the $700-$800 range I was used to seeing to $1000-$1200). My question is - should I expect a similar increase with their 1/3 lines? There are really just a handful more on my wish list, but this is making me nervous. I don't really want to dish out 2,000 - mostly because I can't justify it at this point. When I jumped in two years ago, even $1000 was hard to swallow, but I figured that was the price you had to pay to get the best of the best. Now if all of a sudden the best of the best decided to charge 1.5x-2x as much...

Is anyone else a little alarmed at this? Or maybe you've been in the collecting game longer and have already grown used to the yearly hikes?

I was concerned since I had plans to start buying more P1 product. However, can't say I am surprised considering the hobby. It looks like it's that time again to test the consumers resolve and their bank accounts. I guess I'll be picking up a fraction of what I was originally intending to get. Money saved.
