Problem with Aves
I recently received a new box of the 2 part epoxy and just opened it up last night. Both parts, but particularly the part B, are very "soupy" like liquid, and impossible to work with.
I've used Aves several times and never had this problem before. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, is there any I can do to reconstitute it? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey kilowog, maybe you can put the part B container into a ziplock bag and then into your freezer.

Aves makes a product called fixit paste which kind of sounds like what you have. Might be they sent you some of that by accident or maybe the labels on the product were switched.
Either way just contact Aves, their customer service is excellent and I'm sure they can help you out.

I would just let it sit and dry out or return it.

You nailed it, it was their paste and not the sculpt. I called customer service and they were very helpful. Thanks to everyone for your help. I guess I'll find some use for the stuff eventually.

How much of the paste did you get? Where do you live and do you want to be rid of it?

I only got the 8 oz jars, which were $16. I'm in NY but I'm going to hang onto it and use it to make some bases. Thanks anyway.

Cool, I like using eps foam as the core for larger sculptures so I can always use foam friendly materials. I recently tried Smooth-Ons Free-Form but it is very difficult to work with in any way but in push molds.
