No, it was just inevitable for the plumber to have an accident or get beaten the crap out of eventually for causing lose of time and money. Him and his apperantece were very crapy plumbers.

Antlers... Had been waiting a year for this film and it was very disappointing. None of the characters were fully developed, themes weren't explored, the pacing was jumpy (felt like scenes were missing), and the finally wasn't meaningful. It's a shame too because visually it looks great and the creature was fantastic (despite not doing anything cool), but everything else was lacking.

3/10.

I laughed when I saw the trailer for this film. It looked like an SNL spoof of a Christmas horror movie.

I read and liked the short story the film was based off, but somehow they missed the mark.

If it is one cliche that I'm getting sick of is the obligatory "expert" scene, where some person walks in and spoon feeds us all the details. Insidious had a sit-down with some paranormal expert, there was a Skype call with a professor in Sinister, and Hereditary had a voiceover right at the end to tell us what the heck just happened. Antlers has a similar scene and it comes out of nowhere, almost like someone shouted "oh dang we forgot the exposition scene!".

Black Bear (2020) - A filmmaker at a creative impasse seeks solace from her tumultuous past at a rural retreat, only to find that the woods summon her inner demons in intense and surprising ways.

Aubrey Plaza was the draw for me, I really like her. The movie somewhat recalls Mulholland Dr. in that it's divided into two parts, the first being a fabricated arc and the second, a retelling of the first part suggesting what really happened. Or is it the other way around? Hmm. 7/10

fanboys - 8/10

pretty fun movie if youre a star wars fan, there was a "sub plot" i guess youd call it that gave it more depth than your typical bro road trip movie
