I can understand the appeal to a casual fan with the "scary monster go roar" mindset though.

This is a great mandible position, because it's not a full-on, flared-mandible roar. It's the hissing/screeching he does after breaking Harrigan's gun and slowly starts walking over to him.

I think Prime 1 made the eyes too squinted on their version. He's not really squinting in that moment on screen.

I'd have to go re-watch the movie. I think the P1 pose looks really good on that headsculpt.

I think he probably looks like he's squinting more than he really is because is eyes are essentially hidden and most of what you see is darkness in place of them.

Rumor has it that Prime 1 has a P Diddy Predator bust in the works.

Nah but seriously though, I think people on the fence with this CH, just have one more reason to pass on it due to it's paint job on the skin, as far as the bust goes anyway. I'll be shocked if the statue heads are painted substantially better, but I sure hope so.

Yeah, definitely not anywhere near as good as the JH.

Prime have offered me a full refund, fair play to them...

That CH bust is weird. Not even close to JH. Weird pose and basic paint job.

I'm happy as long as figure/statue companies don't use his close-up face from the "motherf**ker", "s**t happens", and "Harrigan-pulled-out-the-disc!" scenes. His face (mainly his eyes) looks absolutely ridiculous and I cringe every time I see those scenes

From Prime 1's official pictures, I guess the bases are meant to be angled, not squared. But I can understand HOTC's OCD with the base being squared. Awesome review!

Glad you got it sorted, I went to buy the bust ages ago, but SC had sold out, I'm glad I didn't bother now. Shame they're well and truly screwed up their city hunter after the glorious JH statue and bust. I'd you ever get a refund for your statue?
