I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

With that said, my infatuation with Bruce has been over for many years but I am absolutely blown away by this unexpected piece. The Enterbay HD-1002 has always been my favorite Bruce statue but this has me thinking... pose on the EB HD-1002 is complete perfection but the realism and likeness on this piece has the EB beat. I’m really digging the likeness on this piece. The texture is certainly pronounced but I think they nailed it. The wife beater and the nunchucks in each hand tucked under the arms combined with the facial expression looks soooooo damn good. Cool scene from the movie too.

I hear you, Bruce has always been my no1 hero since I can remember which is why I’m probably so critical on likeness and pose. Also agree with the HD-1002 being the best so far in fact that was one of only a few Bruce Lee statues/figures I’ve owned (the others being the enterbay 1/6 figures in the red and blue boxes and the HD-1003) though I always felt the head on the 1002 was a tad big.
The only other Bruce Lee piece I’ve been truly blown away by since those releases is the infinity 1:1 bust, but it’s just so damn expensive (and arguably overpriced!) even so I just had to preorder it.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

While this statue looks amazing, is there any chance there will be a 1/4 Game of Death from Blitzway?

Grew up a huge BL fan during rhe 70s and 80s.
Spent my saturdays in movie theaters watching kung fu flicks then coming home to black belt theater and NYW movies.

I have over 300 of the Celestial Shaw Bros remastered discs.
I'm just a bit of martial arts fan.

$550 is incredibly reasonable for such a nice piece.
Extremely tempted.

There are so many figures and statues of Bruce that have came out over the last ten years. This one looks solid, but honestly it is hard for it is really stand out to me. They all blend together in my head. I wish Jackie Chan would get some of the same love. I'm assuming there must be some difficulty getting rights to his likeness or something along those lines.

Thanks for pointing this out - i was under the impression this Way of the Dragon statue was 1:3.

This statue will not pair (scale wise) with my 1:4 Game of Death and Enter the Dragon statues.

Has Blitzway permanently switched to 1:4 scale for their Bruce Lee statues?

I believe the last statue (version 3) was 1:4 too.

.
I'd say they've switched to 1:4 for everything. If I'm not mistaken, their first two Bruce Lee statues are the only 1:3 pieces they ever released.
