I'm also curious about the likes of the statues. Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer) is a day 1 pre order

I'm just surprised by people stating that this statue is a "Day 1 Pre-Order".....based on what?

I've been to the Darkside website, and to be honest, I haven't seen anything particularly outstanding about their products - they are on par with Sideshow, PCS, and Tweeterhead (IMHO) - so I'm confused about all the excitement!?! Especially when there is a perfectly (servicable) rendition of Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman currently in the works anyway.

That's easy.

I haven't seen a Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer) that I like. And have been waiting for a statue of her for so long. If I like it, it will be ordered immediately, otherwise not.
And 1/3 is the icing on the cake for me.


Edit: I thought the film was totally stupid, but I just liked Michelle Pfeiffer

I'm not over thinking it, I was just wondering if I missed something important or not.

From my perspective, in this hobby, I'd suggest NOT getting excited until there's something on the table to get excited about. Companies like Prime 1 have shown us how much we should trust "announcements" of up coming products.....hell, even actual pre orders.

But, anyway, I'm not trying to be a kill joy - I'll stop by and join the revelry once there's an actual product on offer

maybe because there's no (good) Keaton Batman companion piece for said product in works and I'd prefer having all the main characters for display.

then again, you are right to be skeptical abt these high end companies coming out of nowhere since many of them are overhyped. tho I think the products I've seen online from them are nicer and better designed than the avg ss piece

Come on, Their statue of Spock looks great to me and their upcoming Picard statue looks solid as well. I'm just worried that they won't release the statues that they have promised to.

If you're not interested in a 1/3 pfeiffer catwoman then this isn't for you

Oh, I'm interested in a Pfeiffer Catwoman. If this piece turns out great I'll be all over it. I just need to see more than a silhouette, that's all.
