Yep, agreed. The pose is almost identical to the P1, so to call that cutesy is laughable.

Also, what's up with this teeny weeny wall behind her? It looks kind of ridiculous.

She literally skips and jumps rope through a mall LOL.

Well, it's certainly not the best angle as far as her thighs are concerned, but I'm just trying to add some perspective. : )

I agree, my eyes went straight to her legs in the photo.

I have to admit, when i focus in on the portrait, the profile shot pictured,
it looks possibly too angular around the chin / jaw line, looking somewhat pointy.
Best wait and see for higher resolution images to be released.

I sense the position of the portrait, looking downwards, feels off.
I want to put my finger under her chin and push upwards.
It is like her outfit does not fit correctly, forcing an unnatural posture around the neck area.

When I saw this 2nd teaser, my first thought was - this is exactly the same as the Blitzway piece....but at a premium cost increase.

On the topic of the cat - honestly, I couldn't give a greasy rat's ass crack for the quality of the cat sculpt - I'm personally a figure collector - but if you guys are willing to take a dollar value enema for the benefit of a great sculpture of an alley cat - be my guest.

...
As I stated earlier, I would take the Blitz/P1 over this, even if the "collector's premium" put the prices near par. Beyond a stellar portrait, the body attitude simply has more personality and a quirk of life to it.
Plus it's easier to maintain if left open.

I also realize that almost no one here is going to want to pay a premium surcharge for a nicely sculpted cat.

However if someone does go with this, for whatever reason, I think they will find that the main thing that puts this into the "wow, this really looks realistic in person" is going to be the statue as a whole, which translates to the presence, and quality, of the cat, more so than simply the figure & portrait itself.

I also agree that the perfunctory balcony looks odd. It seems to only be there to get the cat off the ground and make it more of another distinct focal point.
