I am hoping he works for DC Direct and does a whole line of 1/6 DC figures in his Bowen comic style.

I've said it before, but a Bowen Batman line would be wallet wrecking...pocket punishing. I'd love to see that. The Batman line, not the pocket punishing.

A 1:6 DC Direct line would just kill me! While the Sideshow 1:4 scale Batman villains look great, I don't want to take up so much real estate on characters I'm not deeply invested in. I would buy most of them in classic 1:6 scale though (emphasis on classic)! Similar to how I picked up Spidey and his rogues, a Batman line would definitely peak my interest.

Not just that, but many other DCU characters!

Whatever it is I would imagine it would be in either a scale he normally doesn't work in, or licensed characters he doesn't normally sculpt. I say this only because I doubt he'd want to do what his own company does, because he'd be competing with his potential future releases. In other words he could do Koto stuff for the X-Men and Avenger lines, and while the scale is not exactly Bowen scale, he might limit his own future sales by doing these characters. I think the chance to sculpt DC characters would definitely be interesting to him since it something entirely new. Now I could be wrong, but I remember reading or hearing an interview with him where he said he did not like working in 1/4th scale. Maybe that's a choice for his own company, but he would be open to it on a freelance basis for another company? Either way it will be interesting to see what he will be doing.

I could have sworn I saw someone mention on FB that he was going in with Sosa on that Prototypez (spelling?) company? Could be just speculation. Or a dream.

while waiting in line for his signature Saturday morning, Randy was discussing statue scale. He mentioned that he sculpted his statues in the scale he did, so customers like us can display more then a single statue on a shelf. Yes I know 1/4 statues are awesome, the bigger the better I always say. But I totally see where Bowen is coming from. I love his statues and the scale they are.
I'll be waiting to hear the announcement at NYCC in a few weeks

A bowen 1/6 dc line would be awesome. Can you imagine the line up he would come up with. DC direct is obsessed with Harley, batman, superman, other than that everyone else gets the shaft. Bowen makes all the heroes and villians look amazing.
