It's varied in the past, but I think their official stance now is that 1:4 scale statues are called Premium Formats (regardless of whether there's mixed media) and 1:5 scale statues are called Maquettes/Comiquettes.

It's still random I think, the $1200 1/4 P2 I have on order for example is a maquette despite it being a perfect example of a PF given it's scale and mixed media materials. Makes little difference at the end of the day I suppose.

I have the exclusive Predator 2 Maquette on order too! I believe the older sideshow maquettes were either 1/5 or 1/4 scale but sideshow has moved slowly away from 1/5 scale maquettes. The last one being the Prometheus Engineer which was listed as 1/5 scale but I think it's just slightly bigger than 1/5. It seems that everything going forward with maquettes, which are movie based statues, will be 1/4 scale and could possibly contain mixed media. This Terminator has to be 1/4 scale with movie accurate paint!!! Hopefully the details will be awesome!!! The details on P2 are superb and at 28 inches tall it's definitely a beast. Terminator should be no different but hope the price range is a little lower than P2.

Ok yeah that's true, the prototype looks great. I'm really hoping the production piece comes out looking as close to it as possible.

Prometheus Engineer was reverted back to just being called a statue... Just to confuse things further
