Can I do flex payments for a Wait list item?
Simple answer I'm sure, but there's too much to sift through when searching these forums for the answer.
I want to get on a Wait list for an item sold through SS, but not made by SS (Prime1, actually). At checkout I'm being told there's $100 due on conversion, but I see no options for me to select flex pay for the remaining. There's a pending balance of $1000+ shown, but I don't (can't) pay that all at once if this converts.
If I click 'Place Order' and it converts, am I stuck paying that fee all at once?

If it’s still a preorder item you should be able to change it to flex pay after it converts (just go in and edit the order). I’ve done it before. Or call their customer service and ask.

Before it goes on WL conversion, contact CS. Depending on what the item is, they will put your account on hold (on the day your WL converts to live order). CS will contact you later to see what FP options there are.

If you tell them it is the only way you can buy it, I am sure they can accommodate, just make sure to confirm before you let it convert.

Don't bother contacting ssc unless your WL actually is about to convert. Just wasting time on both ends.
