The regular portrait is the only way I'd ever display this piece. The EX head is pretty, but IMO, it doesn't match the body at all.

Not surprised this sold out fairly quickly, both the gentle giant version and xm version are doing very well for themselves in the aftermarket. Couple that with the increase in popularity in avengers.

Another take on scarlet johannson as black widow will be good, hopefully by prime 1.

I just realized how much the EX portrait will make this statue a great addition to a GiJoe setup. She reminds me of a movie version of Scarlett with the flowing hair.

I agree 100% with that. Funny how your opinion on something could change because when it was first teased I didn't like the normal head at all, but now I think it's a beauty and just blows the ex away. There's just this intensity to that stare on the normal head that you just don't get on the ex. I find the hair and the way her chin is tilted up on the ex just throws off the balance of the statue. Also, to me, the reg portrait looks Russian somehow. Which I really like.

It's highly unlikely this will become what most would consider a grail. You'll likely be able to snag them in FB groups and ebay at retail price for years to come.
