3. UnInsurance. By that I mean you're wasting money paying for insurance because USPS doesn't honor claims on lost or non-received items. This is because they can't prove who lost it - US or the foreign country.

4. Some folks lie about not receiving their stuff. This has happened to me twice when I shipped to one country in particular. 'Course you can't prove whether they got it or not, so you have to give 'em back their dough.

For the most part I've been lucky shipping internationally, but it is definitely not one of my favorite things.
These are the reasons I don't sell outside of the states to me it's not worth the trouble.

You're kidding, right?

There's nothing wrng with "foreigners" and you have to remember that America is made up of foreigners.

.. but I have to agree with you on the hassle part.

To me, you're a foreigner. Therefore, by your own definition...

This has to be a bad joke, isn't it?
If not I feel so sorry for you because of your attitude.

I live in Europe, actually in Finland to be more precise.

Yes of course its expensive to send stuff here but USPS is quite safe if you just pack it nicely. And its not that costly if you really want something.
Insurance is then just an addition of couple of bucks, its actually cheap and with that USPS is always trackable. Nice feature for both seller and buyer.

I buy quite a lot of of stuff from France and US. It's really nice that most of the sellers are willing to sell abroad. In US most of the sellers appreciate customers no matter from where they are. This is how it should be. If you do not like to sell outside please don't, just don't be so contemptuous of foreigners.

Because the postages are so high I however had to stop selling my stuff (I have books and statues waiting for better days:-). Currently it can cost 100 usd to ship statue to US !!!
