I came across an image (photo) taken somewhere in Cuba. Using Goggle i reverse searched the image
(to obtain the highest resolution available without having access to the original photo).
I spotted a company located in Germany offering to print images to canvas, with the canvas wrapped around a wooden frame (4cm x 4cm wood). They had a 50% off sale, so i gave them a go.
Within 2 weeks the picture shipped from Germany to UK
(free shipping) and the total cost was around £50 (US $60)
The image size 100cm x 75cm. The quality looks great. I doubt they were bothered by copyright.
I would later use the same company to create some backdrop's for my Gentle Giant Sucker Punch Statues. As there was no way i could print the size required using a standard home printer.
What i did was, create an image using Photoshop, and repeat the image 4 times onto the same canvas, leaving enough black space around the edges, so that i could divide the canvas up, and wrap it around 4 separate frames.
I guess the company doing the printing wondered what the hell they were printing, as why would anyone want 4 images all identical on a single canvas?
The results turned out ok. The quality/resolution could have been better. At the time i had no way of snapshoting from Blu-ray. I was limited to using a DVD snapshot. Positioned behind the statues, the effect worled well enough.

I figured the dressing room scene with rough texture wall covered in vintage
posters might work well. I wanted something that was flat. After some
searching through the movie, discovered a moment to snapshot.
The size of the image was limited by space (obviously).
The scale of the image was achieved by comparing the 3 chairs to the size of the statue.
