Gotham Fox TV series -SPOILERS post 25 on
This might be old news....
If there is a thread on this already please delete this one.
Looks cool. Supposedly it is going to focus on Gotham villains.
As originally conceived, the series would have served as a straightforward story of Gordon's early days on the Gotham City Police force. The idea evolved not only to include the Bruce Wayne character, but will also tell the origin stories of several Batman villains, including the Penguin, the Riddler, Catwoman, the Joker, [7] Poison Ivy, [8] Scarecrow, [9] Hugo Strange and Harvey Dent. [10] The first season will consist of sixteen episodes.

I'm not sure if there is a thread on this or not but it sure looks interesting to me. I am sure a lot of people will be upset about the back stories but I have no problem with that.

just saw a commercial for this during the 49s vs Cowboys game.
it actually looks pretty good. def going to be checking it out once it airs.

It was decent.... They talked a lot about Gordon and the other cop (forgot his name) and about showing the evolution of the criminals and about making Gotham not look like any real city.

More than a little worried that, once again, we have show-runners, writers, & those "in charge" of a comic property, having little actual comic-book knowledge of the source material. Darkhorizons just ran a story on Gotham's Show Runner, Bruno Heller discussing potential, future villains. He refers to Killer Croc being "that crocodile guy." - "There are certainly characters that would be very difficult to put on the screen. That crocodile guy [Killer Croc] is a tough one - although we may go there."
Wish he read Batman comics.
