I know where people are coming from when they make that statement, but it is pretty likely it will change. It won't be intentional, but there's always a shot the production piece won't look like the proto. Maybe we'll get lucky and whatever comes out will be accidentally better.

I don't think Campbell is that difficult to nail in statue form. Really, some of those old Electri Tiki Tooned Up statues remind me a little of Campbell's art. And I think almost all of Sideshow's statues in these Campbell lines have come pretty close with the only exception being Black Cat.

Across the eye/brow/upper nose ridge area of his face it’s too narrow. It gives his head an overall longer feel when it should have a wider feel.

They need to stretch the eyes apart horizontally and soften the nose/brow ridge a bit and it will look like the artwork. Maybe the whole head needs to be slightly wider. It’s all just too narrow.





Spider-Man is my #1 favorite character and I always prefer him with Mary Jane, during my childhood they were a married couple, that’s my foundation for Spider-Man, but I don’t feel I need this. Give me classic versions of Hobgoblin, Scorpion and Kraven (leopard print tights and slippers, no XM style cargos and combat boots) in 1/4 for some guaranteed money.

Just like any comic character different artists interpret different things. But blue eyes is wrong. Marvel officially has his eyes as HAZEL on their website:

And it’s been hazel in their Handbooks for years, check the bottom of the page.


But if it’s not 616 Spider-Man, then they very well could be different. In the various cartoons his eyes have been blue, brown and even green. The funny one is Spider-Man Unlimited (middle picture) is a direct continuation of the previous 90s Spider-Man The Animated Series so its the same exact Peter, yet they changed his eye color with the change in art style.


Wolverine’s eye color changes from brown to blue, too.
