I'm glad your going to continue with the traditional sculpting. There's nothing like doing hands on work. I'm going to try Zbrush myself, hopefully it won't be too difficult to learn.
Thanks Ebony,
I will never leave traditional ever, I absolutely love Zbrush, but to me it is like drawing that allows me to print, but this is my personal point of view.
As for traditional, I have always liked sculpting more than drawing, but at this point CG helps me get projects done faster, so I can have time to invest in sculpting my own stuff... love this new stage of my career... if you have questions about Zbrush please let me know.
By the way here's a small update!

By the way , I just want to say this is the most fun I have had sculpting since I started my werewolf, I could do this every day.... trying to find the design as I sculpt....discovering new elements that I had not thought of.. this is truly nirvana to me

awesome stuff!

What do you use for the mold? I am just getting into this hobby, and love to get references on all kinds of stuff. It looks like you just formed it around the part, or was this poured first, I'm lost! I thought you needed to build a poor station to make the block, or I have also seen where you put it in wet clay.

Hi Spazzy!
Thanks, here's a link explaining the molding/casting process, instead of using tape to seal your mold you can use the same silputty... it will adhere to itself and completely seal your mold.

Erick, this looks WICKED!

One little thing, if you don't mind. I think the 'on' button should be of an otherworldly, alien design and not a recognizable earth 'on switch' symbol...
