Judging from the reference art to the actual statue, Clay has toned down some of the sexual overtone. I am sure that she is wearing underwear similar to Aphrodite IX.  Very nice sculpt and hope I can add her to the collection on schedule 10/2009.

I wish that Clay didnt make the changes from the illustration...it just kinda lost its appeal somewhat imo...
Who knows maybe in the future there will be an illustration accurate variant....

I hear you. But it's a fine line to walk with this kind of piece. As much as I love the source material, it will be much easier to display this piece than one based on the original art work. Fewer raised eyebrows from my lovely bride, you know?

It is a pity the panties are not being tugged at by the cat but it is understandable. Its still a great looking piece.

To be honest I think this is the feature from the original illustration that I will miss most from the statue...
it's not really about how revealing the statue is but rather the amount of mischievous sexy appeal that the illustration had.... 
But still I'm sure the finish product will look great as always
