I like the concept behind the DCUO statues but for the price they are too small. I would have collected them in a heartbeat if they were the size, quality and price of the covergirls line.

Comparing the images it is easy to say promo pic is far better looking than the actual statue. That's my opinion.

Using a professional photographer and a real nice camera it's easy to make something look a lot better.

With that said, I think it's a real nice statue and I have one myself.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

It isn't just the photography that make them look different. The final product is different than what was solicited. I have it and can look right at it to see it does not look like the solicit pic. The eyes and mouth look more narrow to me than the solicit pic which looked just like the source art. It definitely does not look like the art on which it was based. The differences are minor, but enough to make a big difference in the overall appearance.

Don't get me wrong - I don't think it's a horrible statue. But, it was my biggest disappointment in the line. No, I don't think it's worse than the Green Lantern statue. I just already had low expectations for that one...

Looks good, but I can't help but stare at the Sinestro bust and wonder how easy it would be to swap out his base for Arkillo's.

I thought the same thing but with White Lantern Sinestro coming out I decided not to. LOL

I should have him early next week depending on holiday shipping times.

A few new pieces.

Batman B&W Gleason is another DC piece with no numbering like my DC Dynamics Joker. I hope this isn't a new trend. He is quite heavy for such a small statue.

The DCUO Harley has a casting flaw on the tip of her nose so I've requested a replacement.
