Thinking about it logically, Aphrodite, in order to fulfill her calling, would have to have no face, or body shape....let me explain.
There is a saying that holds true, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", now considering that everyones ideal of "beauty" is particular to that individual, and considering that Aphrodite could never appear as anything but perfection, she would have to appear differently to every person who beheld her, even if two different people saw her at the same time....so for example, one would see a buxom red head, another would see a slim blonde, etc etc....and to women, would she actually appear as a man!?
While the picture by Hercules75 is indeed a work of art, the woman does nothing for me, she could well be a picture of my grandma....yeah, when she was younger
...you see my point.
If ArhStudios wanted to be cool, I think they would have to approach this statue with a little, shall we say, perspective....what if in her purest form, Aphrodite was a faceless blob, moldable to the viewers desires in that moment, what if, at her core, Aphrodite was actually the most undesirable of beings, hence why you never see the "real" Aphrodite
Yeah, the statue wouldn't sell
but what an ambitious piece it would be.....
