While the picture by Hercules75 is indeed a work of art, the woman does nothing for me, she could well be a picture of my grandma....yeah, when she was younger ...you see my point.
If ArhStudios wanted to be cool, I think they would have to approach this statue with a little, shall we say, perspective....what if in her purest form, Aphrodite was a faceless blob, moldable to the viewers desires in that moment, what if, at her core, Aphrodite was actually the most undesirable of beings, hence why you never see the "real" Aphrodite
Yeah, the statue wouldn't sell but what an ambitious piece it would be.....

Hi Hercules,
I just wanted to say that the portrait which you made of Aphrodite is really stunning and absolutely beautiful!
Woohah, after seeing your rendition of Aphrodite I feel like climbing Mount Olympus to get to know Aphrodite a bit better!
Good stuff!

Partially very interesting...they could make a limited edition statue (200?) with same body but 200 different head sculpts...so everyone would have a unique Aphrodite...indeed very revolutionary move... (just for the talk )

That would be a cool concept...head hunting (literally) for the one u like best...but the undertaking of making so many heads is massive and time consuming to say the least.

@Hunterking
That is probably a "mistake" from wholesale again!
Bcs Medusa and Thor they also quoted the low quantity of the AP versions.
And there goes something very wrong with the pricing of the new Arh statues also, bcs they ask far more in Euros than in Usd.
Example (april 2012):
1/4 Thor cost $485 in main europe about €415
1/4 Medusa cost $600 about €540
The new statues however (sept 2012):
1/4 Valkyrie Boat $390 they ask €435 !! (even more than Thor)
1/4 Valkyrie $310 they ask €360 !!
1/4 Spartacus $330 they ask €350 !!
Far more in Euros than in dollars, while 1€ equals 1.26$ atm..
Shop said this is done by Wholesale, so they calculated the value the wrong way or what
