From what I read and I have a huge Wolverine comic collection. You are correct on the adamantium being bonded to his bone. Adamantium can only be heated and cooled once, when bonding his skeleton the blades were made while cooling they are not the same size as they were as bone which is why they cut his skin every time he extends them now. This is one reason I am thinking of painting the bones chrome.

Wolvie was essentially born with those retractable claws. However, by the looks of this piece, the claws appear cosmetic, as if they were added on later. My thinking is that the claws should be more directly connected to the skeletal structure.

Well I primed it and I have applied 3 coats of chrome paint so far it is looking really good so far I will probably get a pic without the glass tonight. It should have come like this. Thanks for the advice

I've got these and they look great (congrats). I'm not phazed at all as to whether its technically correct . . . I think the bone looks great as is with the claws attached.
