This is why I wish these companies would just show us factory samples of the statue from the beginning (without all the photoshop and lighting gimmicks). It can be very misleading to the potential consumer.

Instead, they hide behind the "prototype shown" and "final product may vary" fine print.
I agree.... showing impossible to replicate paint jobs doesn't really help anyone.
If this doesn't totally sing it will be sold or I'm really thinking of just canceling and eating any NRD and from the looks of things so far that's the directions this is heading.

Can't agree. The parameters of acceptable expectations change from a $4 sandwich to these price points. Insurance you have to have regardless. At least while wearing makeup a woman can be as hot as when you first saw her.

The GamingHead's bust is spectacular. Their lunging Kratos is good but falls short of some expectations.
I think it's harder to cheat and get away with it on Life size items plus busts are usually more heavily dependent on sculpt (featuring few intricate details beyond skin tone and proper eyes) and less on complex details relying on a superb final paint finish.

I may tip my hat to GamingHead's bust but the Playstation Gear 1/3 Kratos is highly satisfying as I have both.

This is where opinions are all over because it's impressive size aside, I don't think the 1/3 statue is all that great. The detail on his face isn't that good, the rosey pink lips, and the texture looks soft. The paint looks too glossy. The base is great but I hate how boring his blades of chaos look without any fire detail in them. Ascension is his visually most boring look. I like the ragged skirt, the Golden fleece, and the more vibrant tattoo.

Kratos spent that entire game--Ascension--covered in blood and gnarly looking scratches and cuts. So I don't really like how soapy clean the big statue is.

Come on...

Why is it that only one person seems to have gotten this statue so far in A?

Did they steal it from the factory?
