Thanks beats Ultron, IMO. He also beats Ultron as the villain for Avengers 2...

I agree, politeness and good manners are enough to overcome any situation

Oops...apparently I had some technical difficulties. Thankos is the polite, younger brother of Thanos, and I "thank" he could beat Ultron too.

Ok, let's see:
Thanos has Class 100 Strength (Like Thor), Ultron just Class 25 (ok, maybe he has more, I don't know)...
Thanos has Superhuman Intellect (Like Reed Richards), Ultron "just" Genius...
Thanos can shrug-off a full-frontal blast from the Silver Surfer without blinking (Silver Surfer v3, issue 35, page 3)...I'd like to see Ultron do that.
Thanos is a highly accomplished magic-user, has cosmic power, and goes toe-to-toe with the likes of the Elders of the Universe and always comes out on top, even without Soul Gems...
He even stood up to Galactus, and actually survived Galan's honest attempt to kill him....

Nope, sorry, IMHO, Thanos has no need for any Soul Gems to beat someone like Ultron.

this one I have to question, how is a living computer only at genius level intelligence, I find it hard to believe any machine let alone a sentient incredibly advanced evil one is barely MENSA level

The Transformers are incredibly advanced robots, but some of them like the Dinobots are pretty retarded. Even genius level ones like Wheeljack are prone to screwing up badly. Not all sentient advanced robotic life forms are created equal.

there was a comic drawn by John Romita Jr

in it, Ultron itself was able to easily take on virtually the entire Marvel universe at once and would have easily won as well.

google for "John Romita Jr ultron" and you can see pictures from this comic.
