Some of Koto's ArtFX+ statues are 1/6 scale. We'll have wait to see the specs.

This looks too detailed for one of their 1/10 scale statues

So are the rest of GOTG going to be bust or FS statues?

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

It's already been established that this, as well as the rest of the team, is apart of their 1/10th ARTFX+ line.

My only question is how they plan to continue from here. Is Groot still a work in progress?

That is very odd. Their ARTFX+ line usually comes with black bases. Interesting to see them choose to have Groot as the base for Rocket. Especially if they plan on doing the whole team. Either this is the Groot they were planning all along or the team display is going to look strange with two Groots.

Exactly, the only way I could see it working out in the traditional ARTFX+ format is if they continue to sculpt the rest of Groot's body and sell them both as a two-pack, similar to the Star Wars line. It's just very unclear; either they painted a partially finished prototype or they're changing the format of the line to accommodate the bust.

I think you may be on to something. According to Plastikitty, it seems Groot is in scale with the usual ARTFX+ line and Rocket is just tiny. Either we've only been shown part of the statue or the rest of Groot will be packaged with the other members of the team.
