I knew jim lee was going to be doing All-Star batman but had no Idea that frank miller would be writing. I still don't understand what they are trying to do with this book though. I've heard they are supposed to be Pre-Crisis stories as the robin in this book will be **** Grason.

No, if you read the article in the link you'll see it's not pre-Crisis or anything. They're making new stories of the iconic versions of these characters but set in today's time. It's like a different universe from their flagship mainstream titles only it's not being billed that way. So, Robin is D. Grayson and Superman's not married to Lois. The idea is to bring in readers who know the iconic characters, but not much more than that.

Yeah, happened to me when I posted about **** Giordano (see?) completing the "Stoker's Dracula" project with Roy Thomas. Dumb computer intelligence if pretty funny sometimes!

I like how they said it wasn't meant to be like the "ultimate" line in Marvel but let's face it... It kinda is... that's okay for Miller and Lee though. More Lee Batman!!!

Jeph Loeb was supposed to do this book. he's having problems with DC....this just confirms some other things i've been hearing. get ready for some big surprises. especially who signs with who in the next few weeks. BTW, Frank Miller is a great comic creator, but do u honestly think this All Ages, Ultimate version is going to cater to the kind of stories we've come to expect and enjoy from Miller.....probably not, unless the plot's already been laid out by another writer.....hmmm. food for thought.
