Not surprised. This statue looks really good. If the production looks just as good as Rogue then the ES is warranted.

Wow, the force is strong with this one...not bad for a character that's never appeared in live action. It's quite a striking piece, so I imagine she'll have an appeal to those who aren't even Star Wars fans. Looks like only Vader from the last Mythos line had a larger ES (5000), with Maul and Fett clocking in at 2nd with 2500...though I suppose that's a different era of SS at this point.

It's just a maximum in case demand wanes or waxes.
ES and sellouts are for rubes especially with no exclusives.
