Ever since I bought the Kier and read her story, I've wanted this statue as an angel.
I also think that the Kier is one of the most beautiful female bodies in the world of statues.
Her pose is just great and her face really beautiful

Last week I was able to buy a broken statue cheaply. The arm with the skull fell off.

First of all, I separated all the parts.
I'll leave the sword hilt where it is. This is too tricky for me

It was not easy. The loincloth did not survive. I can easily repair the breastplate. But don't know yet if I want it

Two fingers have broken off. The thumb was glued at some point. For the time being, I'm not doing anything to the thumb.
The blue flame was broken too, but I don't need it

Milled holes with Dremel

Pens glued with Aves to the fingers

Just as new

Next step.
Removing the paint and glue residue.
Then I'll cap the peg holes and put in magnets. So I can attach pieces of clothing without any problems.

At the moment I just don't have time, so I'm only making slow progress.

I removed the color. Took over two hours with acetone.

The hand is ready. Everything smoothly polished

I put magnets in the holes for the pegs

Then close the holes with Aves and sand them wet

Made the armor part hot with a hair dryer and bent it to fit. Because of the fabric cape, the armor protrudes further from the body but the statue does not get a cape

Kier's face looks amazing even without paint

Next step is priming (and wet sanding if necessary)

Thank you for your kind comments

After the first priming some dents and cracks became visible.
Mended this with Aves, wet sanding, ....

... and primed again.

And then found a few dents again. Mended again and wet sanding again and the areas primed again.

That completes the part.

Now comes the hard part. Paint with paint
Had my skin color problems with Sonja and I don't know exactly how to start here.
First thing i will used a bigger airbrush needle (size 4) for the Bodypaint.
I used a needle with the size 2 for Sonja and that was very borderline.
