My focus (concerning artists and characters) has generally been the same, although over the last year its gotten much stricter. I'm starting to think I need to focus way more on commissions (or at least way less on published pieces).

Since I started my collection it has mostly Nova. I have had one or two other commissions done featuring other characters I have enjoyed throughout the years. My ultimate goal was to have all 25 issues of the original series re-imagined by other artists. Since then I have found an interest in expanding the original series through commissioned fantasy covers.

At some point I may decide to switch themes. Perhaps FF or Hulk cover recreations.

I am waiting for Ken to get to his "sell his PH DPS to Steve for cheap" phase.

My collection has evolved over the years from con sketches and OA pages that I bought cause I loved the look of one tiny panel, to more splashy/cover OA pages to commissions lately.

My focus has also changed, but not solidly so - I've had a Justice Society focus leaning heavily to Alan Scott Green Lantern, I've had a Batgirl focus in many of her evolutions, and lately I've had a Rocketeer fixation, but I still go back and periodically find my self having an Alan Scott or Batgirl pull now and again. I'm not religious about my focus in that I really want to fit characters with artists style or push the artist outside their normal for someone they wouldn't necessarily have done before, depending on my mood.

It is funny that is topic came up as I am in the middle of a purge/shift now. I am making a move to 1 or 2 really nice full figure commissions a year. I am also making the move to buy more OA covers.

Probably about once a year I just add another theme into the collection, but holding off for that for now until I get one book at least half-way full.

I think I got my first Shanna the She-Devil piece at SDCC '94 and am still collecting commissions by fave artists featuring my fave jungle gal

Other than commissions, I continue to collect selected pages by my fave artists where I can afford them. One thing which has changed in the past few years is that I've started to pick up pages from books I enjoyed during my younger days such as John Buscema (SSOC and Doc Savage), Jorge Zaffino (Winterworld), Doug Wildey (Rio), Aron Wiesenfeld (Deathblow/Wolverine).
