My STGCC wrapup

JMT has posted his insane week of art arrivals, so now it's my turn as I finally finished scanning them, I picked up some nice pieces and will post some of them here

In summary, I picked up a total of 18 pieces ...most were pre-done that was yet to be shipped, Philip Tan (what a nice friendly, incredibly funny guy) & Leinil Yu helped bring some of the pieces (together with JMT's) to STGCC.

The highlight of the show was the guests this year Philip Tan, Olivier Coipel, Humberto Ramos, Cameron Stewart, Andy Price, Harvey Tolibao & his gang(family), and also the local artists, I thought it couldn't get any crazier than last year.

I'll start with my commissioned piece from Artgerm, the initial idea early last year was to have 3 connecting smaller shikis board of Spidey's girls, MJ/Gwen/BC...but as my turn came up, Artgerm told his rep and me that it wouldn't look nice...and offered to combine the 3 girls into 1 artboard. So this piece not only his first multi character full color commission on 1 board, but it's also the first time he did a livestream of his traditional work.
I totally and complete love this piece, it was beyond my expectation, I love the little spidey theme he added to the piece as well

The 2nd piece is my 1st piece from the incredible Jay Anacleto, I've always a Supergirl from him and finally got my wish earlier this year.

For this con Philip Tan whipped out a special commission piece for me...he asked me what I wanted, I said Emma Frost...and this is what he did...(this guy rocks )

Philip also brought for me this 2 hrs sketch pinup (Can you believe this guy???) of Dazzler, I also asked the awesome Jason Paz to ink it, you can see the original pencil version in my CAF

There's also this amazing Spider-man pre con commisson piece I got from Jorge Molina...I couldn't believe my eyes when I found out that this piece is mine (Jorge rocks, commission him )

Andy Price also brought his portfolio and I decided to pick up this pinup of Sally, I love the details in this piece, Andy & Alice also helped me bring the piece that's covered in the main pic...I'll show that in due time

And got myself a nice bust sketch from Humberto Ramos himself, and picked up a nice page from his Superior Spider-man run.

Commissioned this little beauty from Harvey Tolibao, at that time I haven't seen him using 2 different pens for his CIS sketches....this could be the first one but I could be wrong. Harvey's always awesome, super nice guy and super talented

Last but definitely not least, one of my favorite current artist...Olivier Coipel, I'm sad to say I couldn't get a commission from him but I did managed to pick up these 2 pieces from him

That Molina piece is out of this world. i agree that people should definitely be jumping on his pre-con list. All of them have been next level.

With what --all of your amazing haul?! That is a serious bunch of pieces you have there.

I am especially jealous of the Anacleto. And disco Dazzler by Tan?! Soooo sweet.
