4th Annual NYCC Charity Art Auction to benefit St. Jude Children's Hospital

You Can Make A Difference!

Please join us Saturday, October 11 for the Fourth Annual NYCC Charity Art Auction to benefit the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering research and treatment of children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Included in that vision is that no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.

The auctioneer for the charity event will be Steve Borock! Steve is the president of CBCS -Comic Book Certification Service (www.cbcscomics.com), an expert, impartial third party grading service; He also serves on the board of the Hero Initiative, a charity helping comic book creators in financial need (www.heroinitiative.org). He believes in charity for all in need and is proud to help St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with our original art auction!

Your participation in this event will help support lifesaving research and treatment for the children of St. Jude. Come down and bid with other art enthusiasts for the chance to own a piece of original art from some of your favorite creators, all for a good cause!

Have Fun. Get Art. Save Lives.
Time: 7:15 PM – 10:00 PM
Location: 1A18

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Not offering tax advise but my general understanding is that when receiving a good or service only the amount in excess of the fair market value is deductible. So you buy. $10,000 painting for $100 you do not get a deduction. You buy a $100 painting for $10,000 and you get a deduction. You should consult with an accountant or other tax professional.
