Agree. I'm very happy with how my Prime 1 statue turned out. No issues with paint apps or anything else. As you say, nice to have options!

Couldn't agree more.

So far SSC's Flash looks old and just plain worn out. As where this looks like a much younger version.

For me, both pieces have their place, as SSC has the original PF "Legacy" line for the old man and their new JLA lineup for this much more youthful version.

I have just unboxed my Flash and I like it a lot.
What I dont like though, the lighning.

I am unable to fit the pegs to the slots. At all.
Looking how urs turned out, I envy u guys.

I havent try any method as hairdryer or shaping the pegs.

But please take a look at pics, where u can see the best result placing the lightning to the statue, base.

Anyone ended w same result and made it better somehow. I would like to know that "somehow".

One note, the handlightnings are just wrong and pushed as far as possible, only cutting or sharpening can help, but I need help w leg n base connections mainly.

Thank you in advance

Yep go back and find my posts in this thread or watch my video review on the Statueforum Youtube channel, the lightning on the statue is garbage and the fact Prime 1 skimped on the magnets....the whole piece feels rushed.

I ended up buying and attaching small earth magents to my large piece of lightning because it would simply just fall out all the time....the magnets cost like 2-3 bucks...but the lightning still doesn't fit flush as most of the pegs aren't even the same shape as the holes...

EDIT - Heres the review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nO5jKNe1Zg&t

Hi, yeah I have seen ur video prior to my unboxing.
Sadly my order was placed long before.
Located in my country, I dont have a comfort to wait for first collectors reviews, cause at that time most statues are unavailable for us here.

For now, those lightning pcs stay at their places, but what I have found so far:

- like u said, pegs not the same shape as holes
- like to mentioned, there are spots for magnets (they decided to not put em there)
- the angle of holes is not correct (base n legs)
- hand lightnings are complete fails.

Left hand

U can see the inside is maxed to the hand while the otside u can see a gap due to fact the lightning is made w bad angle.

Right hand

Even funnier here, u can see (my piece) a small dot in the hole, which prevents the peg to go full in. I have measured it and the peg and hole - same depth, but due to the dot, cant put it in fully.

Overall, I like the Flash statue, even though it seems a little small compared to other 1/4 I have.
But those lightning are driving me crazyyyyy

Btw, anybody tried to contact P1 or have an official statement to this case?

Hairdryer worked great helping get the lighting into the slots.

Did you blow the air aiming to the pegs only or did you have to warm the whole piece of that lightning?
I have tried to warm the peg a little bit and I was able to place it further, but some pegs on mine are just under the wrong angle. So some part of it is deeper, some is not.

Its just incomplete.
Leaving you with holes in Flash.
The whole piece is nice and I like it despite the sloppy paintjob and those lightning pieces.

From a distance you probly not gonna realize that, but kinda scarry how much it has cost me and what kind of flaws it includes. I already have P1´s Green Lantern and I love it. Expected same quality...

I used the dryer on the end of lightning that fits into the pegs. Set on warm and ran for about 5 seconds. After I did that, lighting fit in the slots easily and have stayed secure.
