It's really tough to tell which one is the better between the two. They're both really awesome. Anyone who owns one or the other is just gonna turn into a snob and tell you that the one they have is better. Never fails in the statue world...people always justifying their purchases while never wanting to listen to the positives toward another of the same character in a similar form.
I'd own both if I could right now. It's like one PF has what the other one doesn't and vise versa. That's what makes these two so awesome to own. The orginal doesn't have the COH, but you get it in the new one. However, the original has an awesome head sculpt while biting down on a cigarette. The new one doesn't have him holding the cube...you can get it with the original. Both PFs are holding Lugers....awesome! You want to see him wearing military fatigues? Go with the new. The trench coat is a sweet add-on. You want to see him wearing his service dress? Go with the original.
There's just so many things each one has that the other doesn't that it's just easier to own both. They're brilliantly made to offset each other.

Don't own the first version, have the new one coming...
I'd say the new version has the better head sculpts (on both) and I like the old version's uniform better. Pose is a toss up. Tie? lol
