Can we talk about electric toothbrushes?

I have never used one and am now considering whether I would like to try it out.
What are the advantages and disadvantages?
Are there people here who have switched from electric back to manual toothbrushes and if so why?
Which electrical toothbrush would you recommend? Does it have to be a well know brand, or are there any good no-name brushes that do not make you poor when you need to buy new heads?

Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

I prefer the sonic ones to the spinning ones, but theyre getting harder to find so I finally got a spinbrush. Used the sonic one for 10 years without going to the dentist and only one cavity (bit of food stuck in a hard to reach place for too long). I need to floss more.
