Got a message from Level 52 confirming my shipping address.

The final invoice is supposed to follow shortly ( I only owe shipping).

By the time that gets settled, the piece is shipped and makes it's way across the country, it will probably be a few days before Xmas when it gets here.

Got a Tweeterhead piece due around the same time as well. It's gonna get crowded all of a sudden.

Most people will recieve their invoice next week. Most of the invoices will include Shipping and Handling. Those of you that still owe on the statue it will be included in the same invoice.

Thank you. I've also reply to your email regarding confirmation of my shipping address, but I also had a question regarding shipping the item. You'll see it.

But thank you again Level52 for being in contact with your customers and fans

Lighting, including the use of black lighting for this, is going to be a major focus for me once i get it.

I think I had one in college. I’m going up in my attic and looking behind my lava lamp to see if I still have it.

Do you intend to dry and light the piece so it resembles the original artwork (heavy shading/shadows, etc)?

More so I wanted to replicate some of the lighting in their promo vid.which looks to be a combination of side and background lighting

https://youtu.be/mtQ_SFN3W-0

OTOH, it also came across extremely well in the Monsterplaooza booth vid- and there it's under bright, omni-directional large venue lighting.

Mostly I'm just very curious how it will hold up under different lighting conditions.

I was also thinking of doing a backdrop with black velvet and flo paint (or maybe bas relief) and hitting that with a black light. It would be a lot easier to use a black light in back of the statue, where the actual light assembly is obscured, than in front shining down on it.

The opportunity for creativity with lighting or adding a backdrop is the main reason I kept the order in as I was very close o cancelling it several times over the last couple months.

BTW, I found out last year that the problem with a black light flashlight is that it creates a sharply defined spotlight effect.
If you try to diffuse that by moving it back, it's likely to just lose all effectiveness , unless you are viewing it in an otherwise pitch black room.
