Return it and have to pay like 1/5th the cost in shipping and not get the shipping to you returned? ;p Not amazing.

This is nothing new.

It's the same as their R2, which was pretty much all plastic too (I didn't like it at the time too). So, it shouldn't have come as a total surprise.


Though I thought the various life size Baby Yoda's were fairly priced, if not dirt cheap, as it was about the same price as some deluxe 1/6 figures. I buy a lot of life size items, so having to pay only a few hundred was kind of a novelty.

Love my Attakus Probe Droid, Ordered in 07 then Attackus jacked it up from 400.00 to like 700.00 something like that, I kept my order and BBTS honored the 400.00. Metal and Polystone

I think Sideshow did a great job with this Probe Droid. Good build quality and paint apps. The light and sound are a nice touch.

I was considering the acrylic rod option, but based on the weight, I'm sticking with the metal rod provided. When I talked to the manufacturer they suggested that it could warp over time.

Just want to report my acrylic rod mod for the stand is still straight and no problems 6 months later.

Looks good.
They should have used a think clear rod to support the piece. I guess that would have bumped up the price?
