Nice review. I agree with you and the additional height makes all the difference.

I appreciate people taking time out to do such a thorough review, I know it must take time. Nice review, and Congrats on Darkseid. I think he came out pretty good.

Great review and good pics as usual, RS. The statue looks really good and putting him a base riser will definitely make it more visually appealing when next to Supes.

My thinking is that what this piece needed was a taller base. If the objective is to display him alongside the Superman PF, it would have better accentuated Darkseid's height.

Pic 2: Here we see Darkseid resting atop my lazy Susan (the rotating platform I use to review sculpts). This actually looks really good. The scale seems better here as Darkseid`s step now appears more in line with Superman. I think I may opt to get something to display underneath Darkseid. I prefer this height to him beside Superman. Darkseid needs to appear imposing, intimidating, and threatening. Making Superman looks small in comparison is part of the show.

Great review!!! And wow, Darkseid is a nice size! He can palm superman's head no problem!!!

I definitely like this piece. Modest but classy. He really looks majestic right next to Supes. Thanks for the excellent review, RS!
