Xmen FC is a must have. Great price. I've noticed that Fox has at last dropped their RRP. They were always 5-6 Euros more expensive than other studios.

Yeah it's a great deal. If I didn't have the first 2 seasons I'd bite. Considered doing it anyway just to get the last three at that price and then selling the first two but didn't want to hassle with that.

I'll haveta follow this more closely now. While I stay mostly digital these days (and will one day unload the 800+ DVDs around the house) I finally broke down and bought 2 dedicated blu-ray players over the holiday, including a 3D along with a Samsung 55" LED 3D-TV. I've quickly discovered a few things:
1) blu rays have gotten pretty cheap (especially bare bones versions)
2) fewer titles are being released with digital copies which pisses me off, but I won't pay more than $10 for one and I'll just burn my own, so there.
3) There's not much by way of 3D yet, but they look absolutely spectacular. I have Tron, Thor and Captain America (the last two were conversions but are still nice to look at) and ordered Alice in Wonderland (shot 3D) and Cars (all digital conversion).
4) WTF is with Avatar 3D though? $100+! While I really like the movie and already have reg Blu because I figured, 3D what's the big deal, the principal of the pricing royally ticks me off. I'll wait it out for a while or pick up a used one.
5. Movies still don't get any better no matter how good they look.
In keeping with the spirit of this thread, however, I picked up from Target
Terminator I- $8
Terminator II - $5.99
Edward Scissorhands - 10
Troy-9.99
Elizabeth The Golden Age+-13.99
X-Men The Last Stand -- 10.99

I believe it's because Panasonic has exclusive distribution rights to the 3D Blu-ray version of the film until Feb. 2012. In other words the only way to get it is to buy a Panasonic Blu-ray player, television or find a dealer/individual selling it independent of the hardware.
IMO this just proves that 3D is more a marketing gimmick than a true evolution in movies themselves. They've created a way to lure people back into the theater and then charge you more for admittance. Then charge premium prices for the Blu-ray and get big companies to pay them for exclusive distribution rights like this. Personally I feel no need or desire to support 3D in any form. In fact the sooner it goes away the happier I'll be. Nothing more annoying than deciding to go to your favorite theater and having the film you want to see only being shown in 3D with no 2D alternative.
