I understand and think it's a good idea. The timing just isn't right. The last thing you want is people watching this and not being able to enjoy it because it makes them feel uncomfortable despite the subject matter having nothing to do with the real life tragedy of this week.

I was in the theater last night and saw a trailer for the new Death Wish remake and all I could think the whole time I was watching it was that it felt like bad timing. Dude shooting/killing people point blank range then cracking jokes in another scene, even though they were bad guys, just made me uneasy. I say that as someone who isn't sensitive to controversial entertainment, has zero problem separating fantasy from reality and doesn't believe in being politically correct.

Ironically enough they just announced that the release of Death Wish will be postponed as well.

Definitely a smart move. Not that I'd see this film either way as I think it looks pretty bad and loathe Eli Roth.

Found the first episode slow and drawn out, second episodes much better.
