Agreed. They should've at least tried to use the natural lines to hide the seam. That's just bad.

Aside from the seem, I'm really disliking the texturing on her suit. It reads like a complete mess. From a distance it looks like she's wearing crumpled wrapping paper or like they painted it and accidentally dropped on the sidewalk.

Sad, because I dig the face, the hair, the pose and the base.

I'd pick her up at like $40 or something. But this figure has just some bafflingly awful design choices.

Just as a side note, I was looking at my Covergirls Mera statue by DCD. Looks like they too had to cast the legs separately, but they did a much better job at concealing the seam (not sure I ever would have even noticed it if not for this thread, TBH). Not sure if the material being cold cast porcelain vs PVC makes a difference here or not?

I decided to get it anyways. These pics from Amiami sold me. Even with the seam visible I still like it.

What are your thoughts, after having her in hand? I think we all knew what the seam would look like, but in your first pic, it even looks like the green color doesn't match from one side of the seam to the other. Also, is the water actually purple?

Yeah, that color shift on the leg seam and the purple iridescence seems more pronounced in the photos. I think its more due to a pearlescent paint and the lighting. The seam is noticeable but from about 4-5 feet away really isn’t visible. I plan on doing a video review on YouTube tomorrow so that may show better how it looks.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll be curious about video and viewing distances.
