Where to buy life size Iron Man?
Does anyone know of any dealers in the U.S. who would have the life size Iron Man statue from oxmox? I'm not talking about the Stan Winston bust, but the actual life size fiberglass statue displayed in some theaters. I found a guy on ebay selling them, but it seems sketchy. First of all, he's selling 30 of them for $2600 a piece. Second of all, his seller name is specialmoviearts and if you go to specialmoviearts.com, it's one of those parked pages with links to other things and the top linked thing on that page is "Nigerian Movies", which instantly scares me. Third, there is no PayPal or other trackable option to pay; only money orders are accepted.
I love the statue, but I'd really prefer to deal with a stateside dealer.
This is the link to the oxmox statue that I'm talking about :

Thanks,
Matt

Hey, I started looking at the same place you did today. Another forum member recommended it and said the guy was trustworthy, but I'm still hesitant about wiring that much money out of country. I did talk to a local distributor here in New Jersey that thinks he'll have a few statues in late July early August. 99% sure it's the same statue, but he's sending me info this afternoon to be sure. If you want the info PM me I'm not sure about the rules about posting links to local dealer's sites on the forum, plus I don't want to seem like I'm shilling for the guy since I've never even purchased anything from them before. They did have a booth at NYCC though and the place isn't that far from where I live so I may go check it out in person.

That would cost, at minimum, $5K IMO.

I don't think the oxmox one even looks good. Looks more plastic than "iron"
