Thanks! Indeed it is a underrated piece. He virtually looks like he just came out of the game.

Why did this piece end up being such a failure in the aftermaket?

ES increase, a lot of people question his scale, not a lot of people's favorite character. Pretty much the usual shiz.

The general consensus was that his ES was to high & he's out of scale.

In regards to him being out of scale technically from the bottom of the base to the beginning of his hair line he is roughly 18". Per wika street fighter Guile stands 5' 11" so he truly is a quarter scale statue. As a collector I feel that his main issue is not so much how he towers over Ryu, Ken & Akuma but more along the lines on how they switch art direction (from Udon to a more game accurate SFIV look) which created a contrast in style.

A debate amongst collectors whether or not he's out of scale is more than enough to deter the casual fan from buying.

Those interested in investing will not touch something w/ such a high ES and very little demand.

Its a shame; the likeness and pose here are spot on.. Its still a great piece though..might pick one up..After Balrog, Guile was my favorite character

Favorite character and favorite PCS PF SF statue. (Sagat is a very close second.) Love the look and how he towers over Ryu, Ken etc and how he is jacked to the nines. Perfect rendition.

I love the way he turned out. His pose and uniform are perfect IMO. I'm not one who cares about ES size so that doesn't bother me. The only issue I have is his size and it's not that he's not 1/4 scale but that most of the rest aren't (Jerry said that they were closer to 1/5). When I first got him and placed him next to the others , I thought for sure Jerry decided to make the rest of the line 1/4 scale. I asked him if this was the case, he replied that due to having different sculptors there was a difference in the scale ( true 1/4 vs Jerrys original "1/4" scale characters). If you place them all next to each other that's when the size inconsistency really sticks out. Regardless of that Guile looks awesome!

I will never understand people who care about the ES, but that's my opinion.

Love this statue, Guile was very famous in Street Fighter II. He used to overpower Ryu and Ken during the Arcade days. Happy I got him.
Go home and be a family man!
