I'm pretty positive they were just forced to use foam this time, due to the Raptor arms and claws.

I've seen the sturdy styrofoam they used before breaking off a Rex's finger at the simple, gentlest touch at my retailer's shop. I imagine this happened on a lot of samples, and would have been 100 times worse on the Raptor.

Dino Dream also uses black foam and inserts, same for most unlicensed companies like Nanmu. Should be the standard for expensive pieces like ECC imo.

Totally agree on the boxes, ECC ones are super solid and sturdy, especially in comparison to the paper Prime 1 uses.

They have used this packaging before. My Rex bronze piece had the same materials.
