A conclusion is simply the place where you got tired of thinking.

Man I love how responsive Prime 1 is to their customers. It's only been like 2 days since the show and people were mentioning how this statue needed more blood and here we are.

looks awesome, in that last pic you can see the proportions are fine - the head isn't small it was just the camera and maybe the bulky armor throwing it off

So, what do you guys recommend for someone that's never got into this series? I'm not into books really but would like to check out the anime. Is there more than one? I'm seeing a complete remastered DVD set for $80 on Amazon and then movies as well. Is that worth it or would you hold out for a Blu Ray set?

Forget the movie, series and everything and just read the manga!

You're not a fan of the anime and movies? Or is the manga just that much better?

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I would binge on the manga honestly. Both the early and the recent anime series skip over things. But the first anime series is still one of my all time faves and covers the Golden Age Arc. The movies cover this as well only in condensed form but the CGI does get distracting at times. The most recent anime covers material after the movies and still has the CGI elements which a lot of people weren't thrilled with. But if you are able to bear it, it's still a good watch IMO. But if you want the best experience, binge on the manga.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Remastered in Bluray for sure. I've found this
https://www.madman.com.au/catalogue/...imited-edition
since it is from 2016, i hope this is the remastered version of the series

Manga is a thousand times better. Old serie...is old serie and don't reflect the manga. The movies are not well drawn IMO and the new doesn't appeal much with his style...
Manga is the way to start Berserk, too bad that it seems that Miura won't finish it...
