ehhhhhh.... that's just not how it came across to me, it seemed very one sided like he was infatuated with her and she was using only using him. ive seen the movie several times and how its always come across to me. I still like the movie and bane overall though, he was a total boss

Bane is the only good part of Dark Knight Rises. Everything else is god awful.

I feel like "Rises" gets a bum rap for having to follow a tough act like the stellar "Dark Knight".

I would agree it was the weakest of the trilogy but not necessarily awful.

I couldn't agree more. So many plot holes, poor writing, by the worst of the trilogy with Begins being the best IMO.

Rises was just a mediocre movie. Begins was a very good movie and TDK was phenomenal. I just wanted Rises to be as good as Begins. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.

Cillian, Leam, Heath, and Tom were all incredible choices.

100% agree. And also with the score (as mentioned). Zimmer is a virtuoso.

Accurate. You cant follow TDK and make people happy. its just impossible.

I still see it as an excellent movie.

The intro with the plane. guys...c'mon.
The football field. just epic.
The walk across the ice.
Ras' cameo.
The breach of Wayne Enterprises by the League of Shadows.
The back breaking scene.
The stock market robbery.
Batman returning on the batbike with the cop chase...

This was a very very good movie. It is just impossible to hold up anything to TDK.

Nothing will ever compare to DK, obviously but Rises was still great to me.
