I received an update from GG today.

'Honey Trap is on hold while we look into the line and determine its future.'


So there you have it. Atleast GG replied.
I get the impression Junior (Fireball) isn't even in production yet?

I cancelled mine a couple days ago. I ordered her over a year ago.I think that was patient enough.Especially when they had her listed for a february 2019 release. Maybe they would have sold more if they would have had her available for order on their site, smh. It is too bad. I really loved the piece, but buying from GG is aggravating. They would have a good amount of orders if they didnt wait years after revealing these pieces to put them up for order and then make collectors wait years for them to get produced. You have to jump when they are hot, not when people move on. I was really hoping Diamond Select would be more forward moving with these pieces.

Seriously don’t know what the heck is wrong with GG. This line has been a cluster Frk from the start. Really a shame.

I'm going to cancel mine . I originally placed an order on 08/24/2018 If the piece ever does happen i can always place a new order, as i doubt they will sell out fast.

I just went to the contact area on the site. I think there is an email there.and i emailed them with my order information.

Hmmm... I placed my pre-order directly thru GG, but I've emailed them like 3 times and never got a response. Does anyone know another method in contacting them?

There is no place on the order page to cancel either

I contacted them yesterday via their website. Today i received a reply:
THE STATUS OF ORDER #--------- IS NOW CANCELLED

I hope Junior/Fireball is released some day. I have a feeling Diamond Select acquired Gentle Giant to make use of their Star Wars licence.

Yep, I contacted them and they cancelled my order too. But i had thought I placed a 100.00 deposit but I didn't. That 100.00 deposit was just a sort of incentive or credit for ordering it early I think.

Yes, I do hope Junior is released at some point.

I also manage to grab Gentle Giant's "Honey Trap Whisper" statue at a really great price . That was the original one I wanted to purchase but ended up buying Derby and the Asian one.

I think, so far, that the Asian is the best one done so far, IMHO

Damn, I really wanted Danny Mint. That was the first statue in this line I was wowed by. Maybe they will come back around to it one day.
