Guile breakage poll Fedex vs Ups

I figured that part if not most of the reason the guiles came in damaged were due to the handling of the delivery men/women.Those who had their guiles broken or damaged please answer the poll so that sideshow/popculture will know whose partly responsible for this mess....

My Reg Guile was delivered broken, but its more the glue in the joint of the leg coming unstuck rather then the statue broken or cracked!..I dont think my damage was a deliver issue, more a factory one!

My Ex arrived today in perfect condition from FedEx!

This poll isn't going to prove or solve any issue with transit problems.

Just like with any company, whether it's a China factory, Sideshow Toys, or any delivery service, it all comes down the the individuals.

This poll may show that Fex Ex has more "problems", but it's not Fed Ex as a company that is the concern, it's the individual driver or assembly line handler that is the problem.

Jerry and Sideshow have no control on how handlers "handle" your collectible. USPS, UPS, and Fed Ex all employee a small percentage of jerks that don't care about their job or your package beyond the paycheck they receive.

I don't think this poll is going to offer a solution, even where the handler is the problem. The individual costumer who receives damaged items or beat up boxes need to take the time to make calls to their locale distributors so some specific documentation can take place. That way, if there is a pattern forming with a driver etc. something can eventually be done about it.

Excellent point, Andrew. I've said this before that all companies have lazy, idiotic people who hate their jobs, and I would venture to say that it's about equal the amount. I work in shipping and deal with UPS and FedEx every single day. Both have mishandled and/or lost our goods. While I would say that FedEx has a better overall customer service, both companies worked hard trying to rectify the issue. All my statues, regardless of statue company has been delivered by UPS, and fortunately, none of them have been damaged.

Fedex for me - $25 to send Guile to the UK unless sideshow/ups can do it for the same price

Mine came fine and it traveled twice since I bought it second-hand via eBay. No idea what means was used to ship to original owner, but the seller shipped it to me via FedEx.
