I literally hate it when they base movies off of games, and games off of movies, TV shows, or any other type of media.
It never works out, and it cheapens the image of the original product IMO.
Why anyone would think that a 20+ hour video game would/could translate well in to a 2 hour movie or vice versa is beyond me.
