i branched out today, only had 1 book in my box so i added a few extras.
Harbinger #14 (my monthly)
Superior Spider-Man Team-Up #1
Batman Superman #2
Lazarus #2
i also saw a NM copy of Conan #1 from 1970 on the shelf, had to buy it. actually, already have it boxed and ready to send off to CGC. shes a beauty!

I picked my books up yesterday at lunch time and decided to also go hunting in the back issue bins. I moved a bunch of books that were laying on top of the boxes and in the pile was a CGC slab.......Green Lantern #1 6.5!! Just lying there with a bunch of dollar books. I just didnt have the money on me to pick it up.

Yeah. It was behind the counter but up on the shelf. My LCS has a very dedicated following. It's a tiny store but after the mega chain of comic shops closed out here a year or so ago, my LCS, I think, has been flourishing. I remember I was in there the day the chain closed their doors. In the 30 minutes I was there, at least a dozen or more people had come in and were starting boxes. He's a great guy that owns the place and is really keen on loyal business. Having said that, he's known to be the place that gives the best deals on books. I was standing in line with my weekly haul and I noticed the Conan on the shelf. A fella 2 ahead of me asked about it but said he would come back later and pick it up. I don't think so, homie don't play dat. Swooped it up fast like a puma. Yeah, I'm really excited to of gotten it and looking forward to having it slabbed.

Love these stories..
the only one i have where i've picked up stuff physically like this is.. i found first appearance of Beta ray Bill for a Buck ( not in gr8 shape, but for a buck, Wth  )
Oh.. N Ultimate Spidey in good shape for arnd 30 bux Decent deal i guess.
I love My LCS too.. GnB comics in Singapore, really take the effort to make customers feel special. Just wish they had deeper back issue bins..
