Jericho fans say NUTS!!! to CBS

Ok, just would like to spread the word, about the recent activity from Jericho fans.

last week CBS decided to cancel the T.V. series Jericho, shortly after, online petitions have been created, then suddenly people started sending small amounts to the CEO of CBS located in NY.

The site that these people were ordering from was www.nutsonline.com; well the owners of the online store were curious to why they were recieving all these orders that share the same destination. So the they figured out that it was for saving the TV series.

So the owners of NutsOnline decided to create a separate entity so that anyone who wants to contribute ($5 - $50) money, they can. The money will all then be pooled together. Yesterday CBS recieved more that 1,000 pounds of nuts, and by the end of lastnight they shipped out 2 tons (4,000 pounds), the 2 ton order should be delivered this morning sometime.

The website offers updated comments from the owner on deliveries and other stuff. there is a live status of how much people are contributing and how many pounds are going to be shipped.

Im not asking you to contribute, i just would like to spread the word, as i feel some people may want to know. And in all reality, this is pretty damn funny.

just an update:

the UPS driver has arrived with the 2 ton order, and CBS is accepting it.

currently we are nearing the 3,000 pound marker for tonights delivery.

UPDATE:

they are nearing the 3,500 pound marker for todays delivery, yesterday they were nearing this same amount at about 4 PM central time. so they are way ahead of shedule just as long the orders keep coming in.

this is soooo funny, im hardly getting any work done, thank god its a slow day

I've seen this before. When the WB was going to cancel Roswell after one season, fans sent in thousands of bottles of hotsauce. It worked because Roswell went on to a 2nd season and then a 3rd on UPN.

I love Jericho so I really hope this works.
